Name-dropping titles like The Legend of Zelda, Final Fantasy and Skyrim, developers The Gentlebros lay out their inspirations for Cat Quest, an action RPG hitting Android on Sept. 15.

Specifically, they claim the overworld of Final Fantasy, the combat and exploration of Zelda and the open world of Skyrim “all in one cat package.”

Moving on from their own statements though, Cat Quest looks adorable. It’s a game I’ve had my eye on for awhile, and was considering picking up on PC until I found out that it would be getting an Android release. Given the point-and-click nature of the world navigation, it should work exceptionally well on mobile.

The premise is simple: you’re a cat and you do cat things. You also do some things that cats can only dream of — wear armor, swing axes, deal death with various forms of weaponry and go on some good old-fashioned dungeon crawling. It looks as expansive as they purport, and you can peep at the release trailer below.

Cat Quest will be $4.99 when it launches on Google Play.
