Linelight is the first game from developer My Dog Zorro (yeah, there’s actually a dog, and they post pictures of it on Facebook, of course) and it’s a good one, provided you like minimalist puzzle games, of which there are an abundance.

But Linelight stands out, at least to me, for impressive visuals, interesting mechanics, and a very good vibe that’s easy to sink into for long periods of time. It first released on Steam and PS4, and is now available on the Google Play store.

You control a line, moving along another line, and your goal is to avoid the bad lines, hit switches to complete lines and ultimately … get to the end of the line. In short: there’s a lot of lines. It’s very intuitive, easy to pick up and hard to put down.

At the time of writing, there’s over 100 five-star reviews and just two one-star reviews on the Google Play store. I’d already played a good portion of this on PC prior to its mobile release, and I’m happy to play more.

You can see some of it in action, courtesy of the developer, below.

Linelight is currently $1.99 on Google Play.
