Framed is one of the underrated gems you can pick up on Android, and on Wednesday, Aug. 16, it’s getting a prequel in the form of Framed 2.

Framed 2 is a noir puzzle game where you re-arrange panels in a comic book to solve puzzles and change the outcome of the story. The game looks like it offers a whole lot of what the first game offered, but with a lot more variety and depth.

The biggest complaint people had with the first game was that it was light on content. With the more intricate puzzles, art and design of this prequel, that complaint may be solved.

Sliding block puzzles are some of my least favorite puzzles in all of gaming, but Framed took those to a completely fresh, interesting level and that looks to be carried on in Framed 2.

You can view the trailer below:

Framed 2 is now available on Google Play at an introductory price of $1.99, 60 percent off from $4.99, which publishers say is a make-good attempt following a length delay in porting the game to Android. The original Framed is currently on sale for $0.12 on Google Play.
